Toronto Dodgeball Tournaments in November

My league, the Toronto Central Sport and Social Club will be hosting another dodgeball tournament on Saturday November 24. You can get more information here.

They are offering two different tournaments: recreational and intermediate levels. The cost is $225 per team.

I went to the last one a few weeks ago, and I thought it was one of the most fun dodgeball tournaments they've had yet - except for the annual indoor beach tourney. That's the highlight of the year!

Dodge for our future business leaders

Help send future business leaders of America to New York City by playing dodgeball next month.

The Chetek High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America will be holding its second-annual dodgeball tournament fundraiser Friday November 9 at 7:00pm in the school gym.

Funds raised will be used to send 37 students on a business tour of New York City in April of next year.

The cost is just $40 per team. Registration forms are available in the school's office, located here.

Los Angeles Dodgers Of Toronto

After months of messaging on MySpace with captain Chris, I finally had the pleasure of playing the L.A. Dodgers of Toronto a few times now, in my local league and at a tournament yesterday.

They made this awesome video on YouTube that has a great soundtrack and is chock full of fantastic videography and selective dodgeball action which showcases this team's spirit and sincere love for the game. This is a real stand up team of friendly folks and great players.

Dodgeball movie star dating Drew Barrymore

Wow, this feels like a real blog now, complete with Hollywood gossip.

Yes folks, Dodgeball movie star Justin Long (also known as "the Mac guy" on Apple commercials) was seen making out with Drew Barrymore (E.T., The Wedding Singer) last weekend at Jet Nightclub in Las Vegas.

Doesn't that totally look like a camera phone picture? I grabbed this image from this Web site called fametastic (British, of course), where I learned the news.

Sexy Dodgeball

This is a little outdated now, from 2006, but as the days of summer slowly start to simmer down up here in Canada, I thought I'd post a little skin. Turns out some adult webmaster community folks at The Phoenix Forum had a dodgeball tournament last year. You can view more photos here.

Tucson Dodgeball - one solid site

Now this is a dodgeball team of dedication: Tucson Dodgeball. I have been emailing a bit back and forth with the manager Steve, and I just wanted to give them some props for a Web site well done.

It is chock full of information about the team, plus some awesome videos and photos of their regular games, tournaments, and a trip to the big tournament in Las Vegas.

Dodgeball Tournament this Saturday in California

I posted about this upcoming tournament before, but I just wanted to take the opportunity to remind you and include the flyer this time. It says: "Boys, Girls, Music, Beer, Sun." Uh, go!!!

Outdoor Beach Dodgeball Tournament in Toronto

My dodgeball league, Toronto Sport and Social Club, is holding another beach dodgeball tournament. But this time, it's going to be held outdoors. Hopefully it won't rain.

The Motrin "My Pain My Game" Outdoor Canadian Beach Dodgeball Championships gives your team the chance to win up to $5,000 on Saturday July 21 at The Docks, a popular entertainment complex off Cherry Street south Lakeshore Blvd East. It's easily accessible by the highways.

So far only three teams are registered, but if it's anything like previous events, the event should be an action-packed success.

There will be an on-site bar and restaurant, plus free parking (often unheard of downtown!).

This is the third beach dodgeball tournament held. The first ones were held in the spring of 2006 and 2007 in an indoor beach volleyball complex in north Toronto.
